Dutch S’mores – The BEST S’mores
Move over graham crackers, move over Celebration cookies, the best platform for s’mores in definitely Dutch stroopwaffles! These sweet, syrupy treats become perfectly gooey when introduced to a hot marshmallow and chocolate!

- Store-bought or homemade stroopwaffle*
- Hazelnut chocolate square or 1 dollop of Nutella
- 1 large white marshmallow
Preparation
Insert a marshmallow onto the tip of a stick or roasting fork.
Roast over hot coals until visibly melting on the inside and perfectly golden brown on the outside.
Take the stroopwaffle and put a piece of chocolate, or a dollop of Nutella in the middle of it.
Top with the roasted marshmallow and gently press down. Enjoy as soon as it is cool enough to eat!
*Stroopwaffles are Dutch treats that consist of gooey syrup pressed between two crispy waffles in the form of a cookie. They can be found in most European or Dutch delicatessens, and in the cookie isle of many grocery stores.
